Walking the Talk for People’s National Health Insurance, Freedom Day, 27 April 2019

The People’s Health Movement South Africa (PHM-SA) invites you to join our PHM-SA Steering Committee and other activist members in “walking the talk” of Health for All on Freedom Day, Saturday, 27 April 2019, from 8h00 at the Rondebosch Common, Cape Town:

Fundraising Walk: “Walking the Talk for People’s NHI”
Date: Saturday, 27 April 2019
Time: 7h45 for 8hoo
Place: Corner of Park & Milner Roads, Rondebosch Common, Cape Town
Social Media Hashtag: #Walk4NHI
Donations: https://bit.ly/2VK7c5b

The aim of the walk is to raise funds in support of our capacity-building work for a People’s National Health Insurance (NHI) Campaign. Please donate towards this effort at our Walking the Talk for People’s National Health Insurance fundraising page.

A People’s NHI Campaign is essential to protect the NHI from capture by vested interests opposed to its vision as a “prepayment-based health financing system for the progressive realisation of the right to health care for all”. For more information, please see our People’s NHI Campaign and NHI information materials.

PHM-SA consists of activists who subscribe to the People’s Charter for Health and who actively participate in our work. We work to improve the capacity of individuals and communities to realise their rights to health and to universal access to excellent, equitable health services.

We look forward to your walking with us, fundraising with us, and your messages of support!
